As the championship weekend approaches, the rosters for the game are starting to be filled in. Coaches are already being contacted to let them know that their player is in the game. This process is contnuing as we head into the last round of playoffs before the championships. Please remember that merely nominating a player does not guarantee them a spot in the showcase. Please do not tell your players that they are in the showcase unless you have been informed that they have been selected.
For those participating in the showcase, here is some general info you will need on game day:
Location: American River College, fields behind the stadium
Date: Saturday, December 2
Check in Time: 11:15 AM
Game Time: Goalkeeper Training Seesion begina at noon; Game begins at 1pm
Cost: $20 per player
Attire: Jerseys will be provided. North players should wear white shorts and socks. South players should wear black shorts and socks.
Waiver: Waiver will need to be signed on site as part of the check in provess.
All players should plan on staying for the entire event in order to make it easier for coaches to approach the athletes when the event is over. If you have questions, they can be addressed with the following coaches that are coordinating the roster selection:
North Men- Marty Kinahan, Santa Rosa
North Women- Jennifer Kerwin, West Valley
South Men- Ben Cooper, Chaffey
South Women- Scott Dameron, Bakersfield
